Ogun Govt seeks citizens’ cooperation to facilitate development

The Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Bolu Owotomo, says the present administration is determined to ensure that developmental projects cut across the State, therefore seeking the utmost cooperation of its citizenry to facilitate sustainable projects for development.

This came to the fore when Hon. Owotomo held a meeting with stakeholders at the Palace of Liken of Ibefun, Oba Gabriel Adetoye in Odogbolu Local Government area of the State, concerning the release of a parcel of land to investors which had been in contention between investors and indigenes of the community.

Quoting the Press Officer, Ministry of Agriculture, Ms. Morolayo Fadairo, Owotomo emphasised that successful collaboration with investors would bring more benefits to the people,  fast-track development in the area, and enhance job opportunities as well as the welfare of the citizens.

Responding, Oba Adetoye appreciated the commissioner and his team for the visit, promising that concerned communities would be invited for dialogue and feedback would be related in due course.

 Oba Adetoye noted that development was crucial to the communities involved, seeking the support of the State government to ensure that all benefits, needs, and social responsibilities of the communities involved were met.
