It is embarrassing that a group of politicians who refused to campaign as vigorously as they needed to would come on national TV, with the sole intent of attempting to discredit an election, which remains the freest and most violent free election in the history of Imo State.
Candidates and political parties had more than seven months after the Party primaries to canvass for votes and prepare for the election, but they were more interested in sponsoring childish propaganda and blackmail, only to come out during collation to try impugning on the credibility of the election.
I am not particularly happy that those irritants were allowed to leave the collation without being beaten up like the naughty little kids they behaved like. Lawlessness is not activism and opposition does not confer on one the right to behave badly.

I am also not happy with some of the figures being credited to the PDP. The PDP candidate probably got some people to inflate his actual scores in this election. I followed this election closely and I know that the few PDP members remaining in Imo, all worked against their candidate because they saw, on the eve of the election what I have been saying all the while; that Anyanwu is not contesting any election, but merely on a comic frolic to entertain himself.
Congratulations Onwa Oyoko. You worked for your victory and you deserve every single vote you got.
IMO HAS WON!
