As promised two weeks ago by its Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, OGUN State has started the rehabilitation of the inherited, terribly, deplorable boarder towns.
The governor had promised residents of communities like Agbara, Mowe, Akute, Alagbole, Anculus/Giwa/Lambe that the bad roads that connect their communities with Lagos where most of them work or do businesses will be fixed in two weeks.
Though, the residents had taken the promise with a pinch of salt because that was not the first time such promise had been made to them by the past governors/government especially that of Senator Ibikunle Amosun, who made the Ijoko/Agbado Road worse than he met it with his proposed six lanes road and over five bridges that led to the demolition of many houses, this latest promise by Abiodun seem to be yielding fruit as work has began on some of the roads especially that of Agbara, Anculus while equipment have been deployed to Akute/Ajuwon/Alagbole.

Abiodun is living up to his promise, though, late in his eigh years as governor of the gateway state.
Below are the pictures of the ongoing roads as culled from the Facebook timeline of Leakan Adediran, the chief press secretary to governor Abiodun.
