Two major parishes in Ondo State, one of them located at Ore and the other at Akure, have signified their intention to return to the Ketu mainstream of the Celestial Church of Christ, after several years of being in the Reverend Beni Omoge faction of the fold.
The parishes are Messiah Cathedral, Ore, Ondo State, and King of Kings Cathedral, Akure, Ondo State.
A powerful delegation from the two parishes led by Prophet Samson Adeniyi visited the pastoral residence in Lagos on Tuesday, 30th July, 2024, to make their intentions known.
They were received by His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, in company of Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa, VSE Augustine Olumilade, AVSE Lolu Sanyaolu (USA National Diocese), AVSE Gouan Barthelemy, AVSE Bolaji Elaloro, AVSE Dayo Dairo, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa and SVMSE Femi Badero.
Addressing the returnees, the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, congratulated them for taking the right decision to return to the true fountain of the Celestial Church of Christ. Having returned home, he prayed that their return would mark a new beginning of divine blessings and abundance in the life of the two parishes and their congregants in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Leader of the delegation, Prophet Samson Adeniyi assured His Eminence of the loyalty and commitment of the returnees towards the fulfillment of the divine mandate of the fold..
