A stakeholders at the just concluded anti-drug abuse organised by the Felix Duke led Creative Industry Group (CIG), has called on the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to consider the arrest of artistes that release music/songs that gorify drugs and alcohol, thereby, luring the youths into its usage as part of its effort at curtailing the of illicit drugs by youths.

The stakeholder (names withheld), said this as part of his contribution during the workshop held at a popular hotel on Toying Street Ikeja last week and, which was well attended by stakeholders.

Earlier in his keynote address as the guest speaker at the occasion, the chairman of Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, Chief Tony Okoroji, has taken the audience which included the representative of the national chairman of NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa, the representative of the Inspector General of Police, ACP, Paul Azuka Okafor, area commander Area F, Ikeja, representative of the wife of Lagos State, permanent secretary of Lagos State, president of movie producers association, veteran movie producer, Zeb Ejiro, Steve Black and scores of school children from schools in and around Ikeja, down the memory lane of musical stars that got their shinning stars dimed by drug and eventually died in their prime.
In a speech he titled ‘Nstural High, ‘ he concluded by tell the youngsters (children) to not only abstain from illicit drugs but to flee from whoever wants to introduce them to it.
