Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organisation, has extended its deepest condolences to its frontline member and renowned fuji icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, at the loss of his mother, Alhaja Halimot Shadiya Anifowoshe.
Speaking on the news, COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji said: “King Wasiu’s resilience, artistry, and commitment to promoting Nigerian culture and the creative industry through his music, have made him a beloved icon, not just in Nigeria but around the world.
“As he mourns the death of his beloved mother, the Board, Management and the thousands of COSON members across Nigeria, join his many fans and friends to pray that the Almighty gives him and his family comfort and strength to bear the loss and that the soul of his cherished mother rests in peace”.
