The General Manager, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organization, Mrs Bernice Eriemeghe-Ashibuogwu, has said that the upcoming and much advertised COSON Week 2025, which will take place from May 25 to May 31, will in every way, be unforgettable.
Speaking to a group of journalists from her office at the magnificent COSON House in Ikeja, the renowned accountant said, “we are not leaving anything to chance. We are designing different events to meet with the interestsof every section of the Nigerian society. We are proud of the massive talents available to COSON and we are mobilizing and deploying them in a wall-to-wall fashion. When we say that COSON Week 2025 will be stupendous, we mean every word. Anybody who knows COSON, knows that we do not say what we will not do”.
Mrs. Eriemeghe-Ashibuogwu announced that very soon, all the different events, their venues and dates will be made public so that everyone in Nigeria can decide which events to join, whether live or by means of the massive broadcasts or streaming, accompanying each event.
The COSON General Manager re-iterated that the spectacular events of “COSON Week 2025” are driven by a strong belief that Nigerian entertainers from every tribe, with their millions of fans, have a key role to play in stabilizing the nation, and healing the wounds that have tended to threaten the unity and development of Nigeria.
In her words: “We are determined to show that despite the challenges of our nation, we will move ahead and build a country where every child has the promise of a future. That is why our mantra for COSON Week 2025 is: “NIGERIA WILL RISE AGAIN!”.
