LG poll: Labour chairman candidate for Ifako/Ijaye not joking

Asade

The Labour Party candidate, PRINCE ASADE ADEDAYO, for Ifako/Ijaye Local Government elections scheduled for July 2025 means business.

The young man is already reaching out to the nooks and crannies of the communities that make up the LG selling his candidature and his party to the residents of the area especially those he considered to be eligible voters.

With his ‘ omo adugbo’ campaign slogan, he has taken his medical outreach programme to underdeveloped far-flunged area like idiagbo community that has not seen civilisation for decades and which he has promised to positively turn around if voted into office.

Next to benefit from his medical outreach reach programme on May 4, 2025, is the Dada Arejogbon street area in the Ishaga community.

Speaking in the presence of Chief Rotimi Orekoya, Mr. Tokede during a short visit to Chief Dada Arejogbon he promised that his team will be on ground for the exercise on the chosen date.

He also used the opportunity to appeal to eligible voters to eschew ethnicity, religion and vote for a man or woman that can do the job as the current situation in the country and the state knows no tribe, religion or political affiliation.

“The time for tribal or religious politics is gone and should be gone forever. Let us focus on the man/woman or party that will make life enjoyable and secure our lives,” he said further.

He believes that he is the candidate to beat as he is poised to cause a major upset in the LG that has been under the grips of AD, AC and now APC since it was created.
