Yesterday, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and members of the National Assembly, joined President Bola Tinubu, at the commissioning of some completed projects and flag-off of new projects to mark the two year in office of Mr President. He also commissioned the 1st 30 kilometers of the 1st Phase of the Lagos- Calabar Coastal Highway.
In his brief remarks at the event, Senator Akpabio noted that the commissioning of the 1st Phase, was a proof to the fact that whenever the National Assembly says you are doing well, you are definitely doing well.
According to him,” In you, we have a President who has both sights and vision and totally commited to taking Nigerians to where they ought to be. Mr President, the National Assembly under my leadership is very proud of your administration and its achievements in the last two years. Let me congratulate, the Hon Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, for a job well done.The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step and today’s commissioning is a proof that this administration means what it says and says what it means.”
