The much-advertised master-blaster COSON Week 2025 that lit up Lagos for seven unforgettable days, came to an end on Saturday, May 31, following the roaring success of the COSON Green Ball which took place at MUSON Centre, Lagos on May 30.
The week ended with a visit of the leadership of COSON, led by the society’s chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, to Mercy Ogbuehi Widows & Orphans Foundation in Ikeja.
The foundation seeks to empower widows, orphans and the less privileged in various skill acquisition training.
The COSON team arrived the foundation bearing various food items and supplies, to a rousing welcome. They were received by Pastor Chibunna Innocent, who heads the management team of the foundation.
Addressing the foundation’s management team and the young children attached to the foundation, Chief Okoroji said that the COSON visit is in recognition of the important work being done by the foundation and to encourage the continuation of that work. He pledged that COSON will continue to support the foundation.
In response, Pastor Chibunna thanked Chief Okoroji and the COSON team for the thoughtfulness of the visit and prayed for the continued progress of COSON.
The 2025 COSON Week may have ended but the many stories of the unforgettable week will continue to be told for many months.
