On Sunday, 3rd August, 2025, members of the Imeko Convocation Committee (ICC), under the Chairmanship of Superior Evangelist Adebayo Badekale, visited the Celestial Church of Christ, Sharon Parish, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The purpose of the visit was to present a letter of Ambassadorial Appointment to Senior Evangelist Sunday Sofowora, the Shepherd in Charge of the parish.
The appointment is in recognition of the recipient’s unwavering support and contributions towards the success of the goals of the Imeko Convocation Committee.
While accepting the honour, Senior Evangelist Sunday Sofowora, assured that he would continue to work assidously and contribute generously towards the success of the annual Imeko Convocation in particular, and the growth of the Celestial Church of Christ in general.
The visit was marked by warmth, gratitude, and a shared commitment to the success of the annual Pilgrimage to the Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, which comes up annually in December.
