Determined to actualise the dream of our Founder, Saint S.B.J Oshoffa, to build Imeko into a model city with modern infrastructures, and with the support of His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, the P.I.C. Works and Projects Committee headed by SVMSE Gabriel Oshoffa, continues to make giant strides.
Imeko City
From electrification to construction of roads and drainages, visible and impressive progress has been made, as enumerated below:
2023:
1) Electrification – Connection of the Basilica and its environs to public power (national grid) for the first time ever
2) 30 solar street lights and poles erected on road 1 and 2.
2024:
The road in front of the Pastor’s residence , from the main road to the Basilica (Road 2) , has been successfully completed.
Painting of the Basilica and structure given a face-lift for the first time since it’s completion in 2019.
2025:
Now, we move forward together with unity, vision, and purpose.
It is time for the construction of Road 1:
From the historic home of our Founder, Rev. S.B.J. Oshoffa, leading to the Basilica… and beyond.
But that is not all:
The Imeko City Development Project is committed to:
Infrastructure and superstructure development.
Road construction and drainage systems.
Water distribution network for Imeko City.
Upgrading electrification of Imeko Celestial City.
Maintenance of the Imeko Basilica.
Completion of the Conference Center.
PROPOSED PROJECTS:
Phase 2 development of the 80 acres of land acquired by Pastor E.M.F. Oshoffa, which includes a housing estate for all members of the Celestial Church of Christ.
