APC Alliance Network for Democracy has reacted to the statement credited to the Abia State Governor, Mr. Alex Otti, where he was quoted as saying that anyone planning to write the results of the 2027 governorship election in the state should be prepared to write his will before the polls.

In a statement released to newsmen in Abuja on Friday by the national publicity secretary of the group, Mr. Kenneth Maduabuchi, the group said, the thought of planning to write the results for the 2027 governorship election in the state is nothing but a figment of the governor’s imagination as nothing like that exists in reality.
Adding that the governor is already expressing guilty conscience over the colossal leadership failure in the state despite the huge financial resources made available to him by the Federal Government in the last two and half years.
The group said, most of the projects in the state are APC-controlled Federal Government projects attracted by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu.
Warning that the governor should stop distracting the Deputy Speaker because he is too busy with the efforts of facilitating Federal Government projects to the state.
If the governor has enough time to dissipate on frivolities, the Deputy Speaker does not have such time because the state is in dire need of radical developments which the governor has failed to deliver to Ndi-Abia.
Abia State is noted for setting the pace but the state under Governor Alex Otti has become the tail instead of the head.
Therefore, Abians will surely speak with one voice when the time comes.
