Hon. Dayo Asade, the Labour Party (LP) chairmanship candidate for Ifako/Ijaiye Local Government at last local government election, his deputy candidate and all councillorship will formally dump LP for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was disclose today, Sunday December 29 by Asade in a WhatsApp group.
He said the defection will take place tomorrow, Monday , December 1, 2025 at the party’s secretariat along College Road at Haruna Bus Stop towards Orimolade Bus Stop, Ifako-Ijaiye.
The decision to join APC, he said, “is for our political advancement towards the development of our community and Ifako-Ijaiye”.

“You are cordially invited to join me and our amiable Vice Chairman,Councillorship Candidates from the Labour Party to formally declare to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) for our political advancement towards the development of our community and Ifako-Ijaiye.
Date: Monday 1st December,2025.
Venue: APC Secretariat, Along College Road at Haruna Bus Stop towards Orimolade Bus Stop, Ifako-Ijaiye.
