Izeze marks last Sunday of the year with traditional visit to Uduaghan in Warri

Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze, has marked the last Sunday of the year with a traditional Christmas-season visit to former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan (CON), and his wife, Deaconess Mrs. Roli Uduaghan, in Warri.

The visit formed part of a long-standing tradition observed during the Yuletide, reflecting gratitude, reflection and the celebration of enduring relationships.

In a goodwill message titled “Happy Last Sunday of the Year,” Izeze described the Christmas holiday season as incomplete without a visit to “Uncle’s Den” whenever he is in Warri, noting that the tradition has been sustained for over two decades.

The Works Commissioner underscored the importance of remembering one’s humble beginnings and appreciating individuals who played vital roles in shaping one’s life journey.

He expressed profound gratitude to “Uncle,” whom he described as a major influence whose support and guidance remain invaluable.

Izeze also offered prayers for God’s continued blessings, protection and good health, while extending warm greetings to friends, associates and well-wishers as the year draws to a close.
