Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, at the weekend, joined others, including his Delta State counterpart, Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, to celebrate maritime guru, High Chief (Dr.) Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, JP, on his 60th birthday.
Senator Diri led a high-powered delegation that included the House of Reps member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Chief Fred Agbedi, and Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, to the Enhwe country home of Egukawhore in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The business mogul is a good friend to both the governor and the people of Bayelsa State.
Multiple award-winning Afrobeat musician, David, among other musicians, and comedy impresarios, AY and Gordons, entertained guests at the upscale event.
