
The Member representing Ndokwa ethnic nationality on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Dr. Charles Olisa, on Wednesday, carried out an inspection of the Police Station project in Okpai kingdom, Ndokwa East L.G.A. in order to ascertain the extent of work executed so far.
In his address, Dr. Olisa reiterated the promise of the Commission to make the people of its mandate areas happy through infrastructural development that would be beneficial to the communities.
He said the Police Station project would be executed to specifications and completed on time, considering the place of security of lives and property in the society.
He assured them of constant visits to all oil producing communities to regularly interface with stakeholders in order to ensure that all parties were on the same page at all times for them to get all their accrued benefits.
Earlier, the President General of Okpai Kingdom, Deacon Emeka Nwaokolo, who also doubles as the HOSTCOM Chairman, thanked Dr. Olisa for the visit and assured him of the cooperation of the people of Okpai and all Oil producing communities to ensure that peace and development would always be enjoyed by the people.
