Red carpet for Okoroji at CIG’s Industry Nite

The event was Creative Industry Group’s (CIG) Industry Night for the month of October.
And the man in focus was Chief Tony Okoroji whose life revolves around anything creative. A man who has seen it all from music production as A&R Manager of EMI, PMAN leadership and now the chairperson of COSON that is championing the need for music to pay through copyright.
The event was held at Buchi’s Kulture Yard Adeniyi Jones.
And true to the description of the MC of the night, Koffi, that Okoroji is a big fish, he indeed made good the description going by the quality of crowd that came out that night to witness the reception party held for him by the Felix Duke led CIG. The entertainment community turned out in their thousands to honour him while the members of COSON board were not left out; they were led by Sir Shina Peters and they included Kenny St. Brown, Richard Cole, Koffi De Guru among others too numerous to list here.
The man who gave the world Lekki Sunsplash, Mr. Dapo Adelegan, was there too. So also were Patrick Doyile, Alex O.
The media community was not left out as Mr. Charles Okogene of charlesokogene.com, Uzo Chikere of Beatsonit, Dr. Shaibu Hussien of the Guardian/lecturer at the University of Lagos, Mr. Bidemi Dairo, of Channels tv and Mr. Sam Anokam of the Nation Newspapers, were there.
It was a nite of fun, witty jokes from the MC, good music from Kash, Don Roy, Emperor Zigzag and co. Drinks and ‘bucket’ meats flowed endlessly till midnight.
