Nwosu, ADC governorship candidate f or Anambra State
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the November 8 election, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu, has said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo cannot be trusted as he tells lies to deceive the electorate.Nwosu in a statement in Awka on Sunday said that his party is gratified that the people of Anambra have now realized why Governor Chukwuma Soludo should not be re-elected for a second term.According to him, following his grassroots outreach, condolence visits, and stakeholders’ engagements across several communities, including Agulu, Awka, Igboukwu, Ojoto, and Nnewi, over the weekend, his campaign is making good progress as the election countdown period draws nearer.Nwosu added that Anambra people are beginning to see through what he described as the “deceptive politics” of the ruling party.“We are gratified that Ndi Anambra have of late seen once again why they cannot and should not return Soludo to power. “Any governor who can deceptively tell an electorate that he has commissioned a hospital project, which he did not, and which is not even operational, does not deserve re-election. Trust is sacrosanct. So, too, is the truth, Nwosu said.Nwosu was reacting to a viral social media video in which residents of Ayamelum Local Government Area expressed shock after visiting the Ayamelum General Hospital at Anaku, which Governor Soludo claimed last week that he commissioned and where, according to him, four surgeries were carried out before the commissioning.However, according to multiple eyewitness accounts and videos circulating online, the facility was found to be an empty hall — with no medical equipment, doctor, or nurse in sight.Nwosu described the development as “a clear breach of public trust,” insisting that Anambra deserved a leader who would speak the truth to the people and govern with transparency.“Anambra deserves a governor who will not lie to them — a governor they can trust,” he said. “For that, vote ADC”#Inline imageSent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone
