Nigeria legendary artist Joey uba popularly known as atta boy has realsed his single track song titled free Nnamdi Kanu according to him the song is dedicated to the freedom fighters all over the word. The likes of late Nelson Mandela,Martin Luther Junior etc .Speaking with our corespondent in Lagos ,the artistes said that Freedom of Nnamudi Kanu is long over do since a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria has ruled that he should be released. According to him,fundamental rights of a person has been part of our lives as was stated in article 48 of United Nations charter which includes freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of religion, freedom to aspiration of self determination etc. He frowned at the manner the Federal Government of Nigeria is handling the case just like Mazi Kanu is asking a question under what guise of the law is he is being tried which neither the Judge nor the Federal Government legal counsels were able to answer.To him just like many others have been saying that Nigeria is a failed state ,indeed Nigeria is a failed state because of the way things are done with impunity especially our Judiciary system which ought to be the hope for a common man.For instance,a judgement was delivered in a case I had with my landlord at oga magistrate court ikeja just few months ago without my lawyer or my knowledge.A date was fixed for the judgement,when we got to court that day we were told that the court would not sit and were told that another day will be fixed which the court never did only to hear from my lawyer that judgement has been delivered what a country is this.?. A country that is practicing democracy,can democracy be governed without rule of law, the answer is No.what I have deduced from all these is that the three arms of government is the major problem we are facing in this country because of their failure to play their constitutional roles and that is while the country is bleeding he concluded .
