In 2003, 21 years ago today, as a back-page columnist in the heyday of Daily Sun, I declared that Globacom was destined to succeed quintessentially and exponentially. Its current sectoral leadership and pacesetting DNA have become justificatory of my visionary conviction. I take off my hat to the bullish icon who changed Nigerians’ speech chemistry with the globally celebrated per-second billing instrumentality that became inevitably institutionalized, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., GCON. The emancipatory intervention by this unparalleled philanthropist and international citizen can never be forgotten by current and upcoming generations of Nigerians!
