…Against All Reasonable Expectations, Ighodalo, PDP Close Case Against Okpebholo, APC, INEC
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) surprised the panel of judges led by Justice Wilfred Kpochi and the entire tribunal this morning when it, suddenly, against all reasonable expectations, closed its case.
The surprising call made all to ask rhetorically what could have happened to force the sudden decision without an answer coming from anywhere.
Lead Counsel for the petitioners, Ken Mozia, SAN, shocked the court with the decision after the court formally admitted the missing five BIVAS machines that supposedly formed part of the 151 admitted last Thursday.
Although Mozia didn’t give reasons for the surprised decision, PDP sources said the party leaders and lawyers were forced into the debilitating decision because no witnesses agreed to turn up for the petitioners’ poor petition.
