In the unforgettable words of John C. Maxwell, a renowned author ” a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”. This quote absolutely qualifies our our 100% ‘ Homeboy’ Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, who is set to salvage us from the shackles of maladministration and total insensitivity to the plight of Edolites.
There is absolutely no gainsaying the glaring fact that the sports aficionado is going to be a servant-leader with an open door policy, a culture of delivering as par excellence, and selfless -service leadership.
He remains one of the politicians who seeks elective position(s) not for the purpose of enjoying privileges and entitlements, but for the sole aim of improving the livelihood of his people. It is verifiably on records that he does this with ease without bathing his eyelids.
Shaibu has always demonstrated competence and capacity in the area of his assigned responsibilities in an unprecedented manner, both as NANS president, a lawmaker at various levels and as a Deputy Governor, which contributed to the development and progress of our dear Edo State, and Nigeria at large.
He is very determined not to betray the trust of his people , if elected, as he is set to put smiles on our faces by providing the needed good governance, and quality representation.
The young and energetic incoming Governor is without a doubt going to make a good Governor, whose goal is to give real meaning to good governance through team playing in the interest of the good people of Edo state.
Our fervent prayer is for the Almighty God to bless him with more wisdom, robust health and courage to succeed in his quest of returning power to the people and making Edo great again.
